OnLineOrdering
On-line Lunch Ordering
School Code: 10OLGNIN
Cafeteria orders are placed on-line a month at a time. Once orders are placed, a confirmation sheet is printed; just send in your check with the sheet. It is that simple.
You may mail your check & confirmation sheet or drop them off at the office, addressed to Camy Klink, OLG Cafeteria
When ordering online, there will be three choices: the main entrée lunch or you may choose the chef salad lunch or the peanut butter & jelly sandwich. A chef salad will be made with ham or turkey, shredded cheese, hard- boiled egg & other salad items according to inventory. Students choosing other than the main entrée will get the remainder of the meal as those choosing the planned school lunch for that day.

After lunch has been served, ala’carte items will be sold to grades 4-8 on a cash basis, no charges please. Prices range from $.50 to $1.75. A price chart with items listed will be sent to each classroom before school starts.
All families are sent a free/reduced lunch application. If you are out of work or think you may qualify, please fill out the application and return to Mr. Frank Barlag. You will be notified within a week as to eligibility. No one but Mr. Barlag and the Cafeteria Manager will be privy to this information.
We think you will find our lunches to be both nutritious and child friendly. While striving for lower fat and higher nutritional value, we will not compromise taste, and foods kids like. If you haven’t already, please give our cafeteria a try….your child might like it!
DRINK CARDS:
If you wish to pay in advance, there are two options to consider:
1. 20 punch drink card (20 x $.40) Cost: $8.00
Reminders are sent home when the card gets low on punches
2. Year of drink cards only (9 cards) Cost: $72.00
Provides one drink per day of school
Please note that some students get more than one drink on a given day. This is permissible but will result in a "year card" not lasting the entire year.
Please complete the form attached, place in envelope with check for the correct amount. You may mail it to the school with
Attn: Cafeteria on the envelope, or you may drop it by the office on the first day of school.
Thank you for your support.

ChargePolicy
Charging Policy for Cafeteria
Dear Parents,
Because of the number of charged lunches taking place, it has become necessary for the cafeteria to adopt a charging policy. Please read this policy carefully. We know everyone has those days that go wrong from the start, and it may be necessary to charge a lunch. That is fine. We just don’t want to encourage this as a habit. Thanks so much for your understanding.
OUR LADY OF GRACE CATHOLIC SCHOOL CHARGING POLICY ADOPTED 2010-11
We strongly discourage meal charges but understand that an occasional emergency at home makes it necessary to do so. Our school’s policy, effective immediately, will be:
All charges must be paid in 10 days
Students may not charge more than 4 meals without payment
Parents will be notified by charge slips amount due
It is the student’s responsibility to see that these notices get home
Students will not be allowed to charge a 5th meal
No lunches can be charged during the last week of school
At the end of the month a $5 late fee will be attached to unpaid charge balances.
After the 4th meal charged, the cafeteria will provide a minimal lunch consisting of a peanut butter and jelly uncrustable and a milk for the regular $3.00 lunch price.
It is strongly recommended that lunch charges be paid in a timely fashion.
DrinkCards
Drink cards may be purchased for $8 per card. One card entitles student to 20 drinks. Each time a student gets a drink, his/her card is punched. Students may purchase two drinks if desired (which some do), but know the card will be punched twice. When the card is nearly exhausted, a reminder will be sent home in the form of an envelope. Please send money in that envelope and another card will be issued to your student. If a student does not wish to purchase a card, but would like a drink on given days, he/she may bring 40 cents to pay for a drink.
Drinks offered include: White milk, chocolate milk, vanilla milk, strawberry milk, orange juice and apple juice

Volunteers
Please Accept Our Invitation
Our cafeteria has one full-time staff member and two part-time staff members, each working 20 hours a week. Because we try to keep our operating costs at a minimum, the cafeteria relies on its volunteers to help in preparing, serving and cleaning up during the lunch periods. You are invited to join us for 2-3 hours a month, to help fill this all important need to feed our OLG crew. You are asked to be here at 10:30 a.m. and are finished by 12:45 p.m.
What are the benefits, you ask? Children love seeing a parent, grandparent, other relatives during their school day. Volunteering in the cafeteria allows you not only to see your child, but also have lunch (on us, of course!) with that child. The pay is wonderful....jewels in your crown in heaven! You may call Camy, 770-5660, ext 295 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . I am waiting to hear from you!
